Our example for those whose children are current drug addicts.
As parents with the firsthand experience of going through the problem, we would like to share it with you. Our children are former drug addicts. We tried various treatment methods but to no avail.
They would get back to drugs again and again. When we were about to give up out of hopelessness, we accidentally came across a business card of "Salvation" center. That was our last chance.
After two months, we came to visit our children in the center and couldn't believe what we saw. There was a huge difference between the dim eyes we used to see at home and those cheerful lively eyes they now looked at us with.
Now, after a year, they are living and working at the center. Their little son who lived with us during the rehabilitation year is now with them as well. They now live as a normal sound family. The parents of happy children are twice as happy, aren't they? We wish to declare to the parents facing the same troubles and the children who have found themselves in the same trap: IT IS REAL to get back to normal life.
If you are well off don't seek a needle...
"Is labour capable of making a human out of a drug addict? What do you think the Russian "OOO" stands for? It is Limited Liability Companies (Obshchestvo s Ogranichyennoy Otvetstvyennostyu) that normally pop up in your mind first thing when you hear the abbreviation. However, not everyone is nowadays quick to limit the extent of their liability:
more and more people are joining together to reach out and help those in need and ready to accept this help. The Russian "OOO" hence stands for Regional Public Organization (Oblastnaya Obshchestvennaya Organizatsiya) as well. The Antinarcotic Center "Salvation" is one of them. It is celebrating its tenth anniversary early June…"
An article on the work of our "Salvation" center published in "Na Smyenu!" newspaper.
